As a Literacy Tutor

help an adult improve reading, writing, math or computer skills by tutoring 1-to-1; meet for 2 hours once or twice per week, at a time convenient for you

help out in our daytime classes under the direction of our instructors; volunteer for a 3 hour session mornings or afternoons.

become a study coach for an individual preparing for an exam; many apprentices need test taking strategies, study support and readers to help them interpret the exams

On our Board of Directors:

join our volunteer Board of Directors and meet once per month for 2 hours; they follow the Carver Model of Board Governance. http://carvergovernance.com/model.htm
On our Fundraising Committee:

develop plans to meet our annual fundraising goal and plan fundraising events; meet once per month for 2 hours, as needed

volunteer at events of your choice like our annual Scrabble®Tournament
